We are located in Torrance, California, just 20 miles southwest of
downtown Los Angeles. Since 1990, our flagship Accelerator product line
has won numerous industry awards and has sold more than 1 million copies
worldwide.

Dr. Ralph Brackert - CEO, CTO and Co-Founder
Born and raised in Miami Florida, Dr. Brackert received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, graduating first in his class. He later received Masters, Engineer and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, all by age 26. Prior to Baseline Data Systems, Dr. Brackert spent three years with PairGain Technologies where he designed and developed early DSL Internet technology.
Chris Furgis - President and Co-Founder
Mr. Furgis was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his Industrial and Mechanical Engineering degrees from the University of Utah. In 1985 he received an MBA in Finance from UCLA, where he first met Dr. Brackert. Prior to Baseline Data Systems, Mr. Furgis was an Account Executive for IBM. At IBM, Mr. Furgis managed the sales process, design, and implementation of integrated computer systems for the Aerospace industry.
Stuart Clements - Product Services Manager
Mr. Clements was born and raised in Redondo Beach, California. He received his B.A. in Psychology from California State University Long Beach and a Masters of Science in Information Technology from Regis University Colorado. Mr. Clements is Microsoft MCSE Certified and has extensive experience with PC networks, SQL Server and Internet applications. Mr. Clements has been with Baseline for 15 Years. Prior to employment at Baseline, Mr. Clements worked as a Computer Consultant for Honda, Toyota and Raytheon. Mr. Clements is an avid runner and has competed in 9 marathons.

- 1994 - The Accelerator Menu is demonstrated to an impressed Bill Gates at BDS’s booth at Spring Comdex
- 1996 - Softkey Address Book Plus - US and UK versions is released
- 1996 - Softkey Instant Address Book is released
- 1997 - QuickNotes and CIT Tool Bar is introduced
- 1998 - Day Runner Calendar, Contacts and Notes Software is released
- 1999 - Day Runner 411 software is released
- 1999 - Day Runner Loony Tunes Address Book and Calendar is released
- 2001 - Office Accelerator CRM introduced – supports both Access and SQL databases
- 2002 - Office Accelerator 9.0 retired – last retail packaged product
- 2004 - Office Accelerator CRM 12.0 – supports SQL databases only
- 2004 - Office Accelerator Desktop Mobile Sync feature added
- 2005 - Office Accelerator CRM Web Service introduced
